含硼聚乙烯中子源储存屏蔽体用高温模压成型工艺，通过高速搅拌、捏合、塑化、增强碳化硼之间的结合力，再高温高压制作而成的一种新型的复合屏蔽材料。含硼聚乙烯板具有良好的工程性能、尺寸稳定性好，具有较满意的耐γ辐射性能，使用温度为80~100℃，屏蔽热中子、快中子和γ辐射性能明显优于聚乙烯，研究表明含硼防辐射聚乙烯板能够有效的防止核辐射及中子辐射给个人及社会造成的危害。It has good engineering performance, good dimensional stability, and satisfactory gamma radiation resistance. The service temperature is 80~100℃, and the shielding performance of thermal neutrons, fast neutrons and gamma radiation is obviously better than that of polyethylene.
